“Scientists excel at discovering limits — and then pushing beyond them.” The illustrious journal Nature cites the pusher, Vera Rubin. The Rubin telescope will start its sky survey this year, pending final tuning of the observatory for all-night, continuous data taking. As of now, images are certainly usable, but minor issues with cadence and slight mechanical shifts are preventing the full onslaught of data.
