…and speaking of good publicity: The Vera Rubin Observatory staff describe good installation of its LSSTCam onto the telescope. This major event (all large parts are now integrated) was well-documented, as one might expect. The details of systems integration and checkouts are continuing. Some initial test images may be taken in the coming weeks. It looks like the scheduled first light (first actual on-sky shot) may be late spring as planned. Congrats on the successful camera mounting, and the positive publicity!
