Note, Paper: On the bubble

Deep diving as usual in Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta, this volume (374):

Yamamoto, D. Kawasaki, N. Tachibana, S. et al. An experimental simulation of oxygen isotope exchange reaction between amorphous silicate dust and carbon monoxide gas… p. 93 .04.014
Smith, A. Jones, R. H. Experimental constraints on formation of silica-rich igneo… p. 106 .04.016

The formation of the Solar System- starting with the formation of the first solids- is a rich territory. We can get a general picture of what young Systems look like, now that we can study other stars and their gas/dust disks. We have some signs of planets forming in those disks, clearing out material. And of course we have the end products: our Solar System bodies, large and small (down to meters). Putting the pieces together in between is the puzzle.
