It’s easy to forget these are not merely glass-and-carbon-fiber machines. These are the works of people, living, breathing people. It takes the leadership of real people to break down the roadblocks, surpass the naysayers, and when necessary stare down the doubters and get these projects actually built. Given the (initially) good results so far, Mellick (and team) should be proud indeed. What better legacy, what better memorial. May Euclid “orbit” in perpetuity as a tribute.
