In the Jan-Feb issue of MIT Technology Review (vol 128 #1), bit of ‘popular’ press coverage:
Nordrum, Amy Vera C. Rubin Observatory p. 23
Mann, Adam The Vera C. Rubin Observatory is ready to transform our understanding of the cosmos p.50
The first cite is more of a blurb, an entry in a listicle. The second is a full article, and the cover story, no less. Mann gives a completely accessible briefing of the progress so far, and some tantalizing lines on expected VRO results and investigations. Of course, there are big, glossy photos, and of course the text could be a little more substantial, but coverage is coverage. This is positive coverage; give it a read if you aren’t already familiar with VRO.
